Celebrating 60 Years: Garden Concepts

NULL

A great garden will usually have a strong concept. An idea or a feeling that you want to evoke. With our homes we have a style, Colonial, Victorian, Mission, Cape Cod, Queen Anne, Contemporary, Farmhouse, Greek Revival…or one of many styles that we can describe. We use our defined style to make design decisions when its time to make alterations, add a roof or paint.

Gardens are the same. Our style helps us to pick the plants for their texture, color, interest or other attributes. Defining your style helps and the strength of the concept often translates into the impact that the garden has.

This home has some challenges with the number of steps up to the front door and the narrow space for a garden. The clients love of the oriental allowed for a Japanese strolling garden. The narrow width allows you to meander thru with a sense of discovery looking at the details.

Testimonials

Thank you so much for the beautiful backyard. I have been enjoying it so much! My "magical" lights still delight me and no further news from neighbors. The whole effect in the yard far exceeded my expectations. You and Mike did an outstanding job!

Thanks Again
