Celebrating 60 Years: Heated Driveway

Think about never having to shovel or blow your driveway again… it's possible. The Glenwood neighborhood is unique in the way it was planned. Alleys allow for services to the back of the homes and present the front of the home for visitors and a clean view uncluttered by driveways and garages. Homes are for people and Glenwood is a classic layout.

The alleys create some challenges though, for larger modern vehicles, especially those that do the snow plowing. So, heating a relatively small driveway can make sense.

The heat system in this paver driveway is electric and was installed in 2009. There is a sensor that will only turn it on when the weather is below freezing and it is precipitating, so that it doesn’t run all the time. Improving your winter environment!

Testimonials

Krista and I would like to pass on to your crew that we really do enjoy our front yard. We have found people stopping by to look at it as if it were a piece of art, of course we know it is. It has made a big difference in our enjoyment of our home. We will highly recommend you to all of our friends.

Sincerely,
Jim Strafford
