Celebrating 60 Years: Planning

NULL

Wednesday Jan 28th, 2015

Winter is a great time of the year for deep thinking and conceiving future plans. During the winter of 1996, the landscape architects of Dahlkemper Landscape Architects and Contractors developed plans with the Erie Western Pennsylvania Port Authority for the improvement of the Liberty Pier.

This derelict land was to become Liberty Park, the focus of summer fun and music on Erie’s Bayfront. Opening in 1999 the EWPPA completed the 15th year of Eight Great Tuesday concerts this past year. The first three years, local bands including Ischabaha, with Dan Dahlkemper on bass guitar, took the stage to entertain family and friends. A dream come true. Improving Erie’s environment for 60 years!

Testimonials

Krista and I would like to pass on to your crew that we really do enjoy our front yard. We have found people stopping by to look at it as if it were a piece of art, of course we know it is. It has made a big difference in our enjoyment of our home. We will highly recommend you to all of our friends.

Sincerely,
Jim Strafford
