Celebrating 60 Years: Zen Garden

Tuesday Mar 24th, 2015

Gardens can create meaning in our lives and evoke a memory or association with people or places. Sometimes it a person, like associating lilacs or roses with your grandmother. Or it could be from a visit to a place like Japan.

This area in a shaded back yard was originally a very poor and useless piece of lawn. The amount of moss in the lawn indicated that it would be a good candidate for a moss garden. After discussing the options, a Zen Garden was decided on. And the garden is a happy product for the owner as it is a focal spot in the yard from the house. The garden provides contemplation and great memories and light duty relaxation as the ‘water’ is raked around the islands.

We hope that you find respite in your own gardens.

Creating relaxing home environments for 60 years!

Krista and I would like to pass on to your crew that we really do enjoy our front yard. We have found people stopping by to look at it as if it were a piece of art, of course we know it is. It has made a big difference in our enjoyment of our home. We will highly recommend you to all of our friends.
